The time plays an important role in my life, so I thought of a product which will be a symbol of how important time is both in our life and in the very process of change which we can make together. Watches were my first thought.
I’ve always admired strong women. I remember one business trip during which I stopped at the Cafe Mozart for a quick coffee. It was there that my deeper interest in the story of Krystyna Skarbek was born, I started collecting all materials about her. She was one of the heroines who changed the course of history. It was her personality and temperament that became the basis to create Christine Granville brand. The brand that strongly supports women and encourages them to act.
While placing an order, our clients not only purchase a watch, but above all join an extraordinary community of women. The key mission of Christine Granville is to strengthen women in business environment and that’s why we decided to donate some amount of money from each purchase to a foundation supporting women in business.
I came up with an article in the internet in which I learned that an average Pole needs only 12 months to make as much as 12 tons of rubbish. What’s more, apple pomace is the biggest waste in quantity - around 500 tons are produced each day. That is why I decided to look for a producer who would help me use apple skin to create vegan bands. It turned out that it’s possible to recycle apple skin into leather-like fabric which is also extremely durable. It’s also worth mentioning that during the production process, only organic waste is used. Apple bands are thus safe for health, non-toxic and fully biodegradable. It’s a perfect alternative for women who appreciate ecological and innovative solutions.
The story, timeless design and attention to every detail. The inspiration to create the brand was the character of Krystyna Skarbek, that’s why each was has details which remind of her history. On the watch dial there is a passport number of Granville and the logo refers to Skarbek’s coat of arms. The product is made of highest quality materials: its heart is a precise Japanese mechanism. Moreover, its durability is guaranteed by sapphire glass in the dial casing.
